Where can I get a knitting pattern for a girl's nightgown?

I want to knit my 6yo daughter some light cotton nightgowns for spring but I can't find any patterns. I'm looking for a simple pattern with a plain bodice and a full/swing skirt. I'd like to add my own embellishments like lace edging on the shoulder straps. But I need a plain pattern to start with. Thanks!

Try knitting.com or even on the DIY network, they have a knitting show that might give you some links. You might have to improvise some of it, but if you can find pieces of what you're looking for, you can put them together to make one.

First I'd start by looking for sun dresses instead of night gowns.
